Short, because the site collects very little.
Peptide Studio has no reader accounts, adverts, analytics or tracking scripts. This page lists everything the site stores and every outside service involved in loading it.
What is stored
- Newsletter waitlist: your email address, the sign-up date and a random leave token, kept until you use your leave link or ask for removal.
- Contact messages: email, optional name, message and date, deleted after twelve months at the latest.
- Read counts: a number per article that rises when the article is opened; nothing about the reader is stored with it.
- Abuse limits: waitlist and contact attempts are counted per IP address in memory for an hour.
In your browser
Local storage keeps pstudio_theme for light or dark mode. Editors who sign in also get pstudio_token. Readers receive no cookies from this site.
Outside services
- Cloudflare runs in front of the site as a proxy for delivery and security and processes every request, including your IP address.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, so Google sees your IP address when they load.
- Share buttons only open X, your email app or your device share sheet when you press them; nothing loads from X before that.
- Links to journals, registries and regulators take you to sites with their own policies.
Your choices
Use your leave link, or ask on the contact page for anything linked to your address to be deleted. Records are never sold or passed on.
